Rate Card

$500/hr (For Pre-suit Condo/HOA disputes, please refer to the pre-payment policy below.)

Minimum Fees:

  • Half-Day: 4 Hour minimum
  • Full Day: 8 Hour minimum

Fees for PRE-SUIT CONDO/HOA disputes:

$1,000 flat fee per party for ½ day mediation and $2,000 flat fee per party for full-day mediation. This is non-refundable. If mediation is over 4 hours (1/2 day) or over 8 hours (full day), then you will be charged for any additional time at Mr. Copple’s standard rate of $500.00/hr.

Payment for PRE-SUIT CONDO/HOA disputes:

Full prepayment is required prior to the scheduled mediation date. Payment must be received no later than 48 hours (or 3 days) before the mediation. If prepayment is not received, Mr. Copple reserves the right to cancel the mediation.

Cancellation Policy:

Mediations or arbitrations canceled more than 14 days in advance incur no cancellation fee. Due to the difficulty of scheduling on short notice, appointments canceled less than 14 days in advance incur the minimum charge above. We will work hard to fill that time, however, and if another mediation is scheduled, then you will not be charged. We encourage the parties to use the reserved time for another matter.

Please note that for us to remain neutral, it is our policy to bill all parties equally for their portion of our minimum fees regardless of which party cancels a session or why it was canceled, even if it is being rescheduled, has settled, or one side is still willing to move forward.

Travel:

Due to the convenience and efficiency of Zoom, all in-person mediations are assessed a travel fee (portal to portal) charged at 50% of the hourly rate. Please confirm in person appointments with our office before scheduling (we will place a hold) so that we can confirm that the Neutral is available to travel that day.
